Product Information
Product Details
The Arklyfe 25 Motor with Electronic Limit is the basic tubular roller-shade motor in the Arklyfe range: built for the most common roller-blind setup in Australian homes, where the window already has a tubular roller shade and the only upgrade needed is replacing the spring-loaded core with a quiet, electrically driven one. It is the simplest motor in the range, with no app integration, no battery to charge and no smart-home pairing requirement, just constant-power tubular motorisation done well. Shipped from Melbourne for AU 240V mains.
The electronic limit is the day-to-day feature that lifts it above the cheapest tubular motors. Rather than relying on mechanical limit switches that wear, slip and require re-adjusting every six months, the electronic limit holds the upper and lower stop positions in firmware. Set once at install, and the blind stops at the same height every time for the life of the motor. For long-shade installations in tall windows (stairwell reveals, double-height living-room glass), that consistency matters.
The constant-power design ensures stable and reliable curtain operation across the years a roller shade is actually in service. Quiet operation keeps it suitable for bedrooms and home offices without the whining that older AC tubular motors produced. The motor is positioned at the entry of the Arklyfe Curtain Motor range as the no-frills option for installers and homeowners who want their roller shades on a wall-switch or scheduled trigger, without committing to a full smart-home ecosystem or paying for protocol-level integration. Compatible with most standard roller-shade tubes used in AU residential and small-commercial settings.
