Project Overview

The Tannock Residence in Balwyn North, Melbourne, is one of Arklyfe Australia's most comprehensive smart home integration projects. Delivered across a premium family home, the installation covers 40 motorised curtain tracks, 48 Arklyfe smart control panels, a full Dolby Atmos home theatre, and a custom karaoke suite, creating a unified smart living environment that sets a new benchmark for residential automation in Victoria.

Motorised Curtain System: 40 Tracks

Forty Arklyfe motorised curtain tracks were installed across the entire Tannock Residence, covering every window and opening in the living spaces, bedrooms, and entertaining areas. Each track connects to the home's central control backbone, enabling the family to manage all window treatments by room, zone, or whole-home scene, from a wall panel, mobile app, or voice command.

Smart Control: 48 Arklyfe Panels

Forty-eight Arklyfe smart control panels were fitted throughout the home, forming the primary touch interface for lighting, curtain, and scene management across all spaces. The panels support both individual room control and one-touch whole-home scenes, making daily smart living intuitive for every member of the household, from morning wake routines to evening entertainment modes.

Home Theatre & Entertainment

The entertainment fitout at the Tannock Residence features a 7.2.2 Dolby Atmos surround sound home theatre powered by JBL speakers, delivering cinema-grade audio performance within the home. Alongside the theatre, Arklyfe designed and installed a custom karaoke system, creating a fully integrated entertainment space that transitions from cinematic immersion to live performance.
