The Arklyfe Video Door Intercom Kit is a PoE-powered video intercom and CCTV display system in one, built for Australian apartments, townhouses, multi-storey homes and small commercial fitouts that need an indoor screen at the front door, view of the door camera, and a unified view of additional security cameras on the same display. Unlike standalone video doorbells, this is a proper intercom kit: an indoor screen station and an outdoor door camera that talk over PoE, with expansion paths to multiple indoor screens, additional door stations and existing CCTV cameras via RTSP/ONVIF protocol. Shipped from Melbourne for Australian electrical compliance.
The indoor station is a 7-inch HD touchscreen at 1024×600, paired with a 1280×720 outdoor door camera: resolution sized for clear face recognition at the door and clear video calls between indoor and outdoor stations. The system runs on 802.3af PoE, so a single Cat6 cable per station carries both power and video, eliminating the wall-fishing problem that drives the cost of every other intercom install. Mounting options cover 86 mm and 118 mm back boxes as well as surface and flush mounting, which makes retrofitting into existing AU residential and commercial walls straightforward.
The expansion model is the real value for buildings. The system scales to 6 indoor monitors and 2 door stations: enough for a 4-bedroom home with multiple internal screens, a duplex with two front entries, or a small strata block. RTSP and ONVIF support means existing CCTV cameras already on the property feed into the same indoor screen, so the intercom doubles as the security display. Multiple unlock options (IC/ID card, PIN code, app remote unlock and door-station call button) cover residents, guests, contractors and delivery drivers without duplicating hardware.
